Participation underscores the company's mission to make AI governance the foundation of a trusted, interoperable, and patient-centered healthcare system.

NEW YORK. July 17, 2026. ALIGNMT AI today announced it has signed the "Friend of the Ecosystem" pledge as part of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' (CMS) Health Technology Ecosystem Initiative. Organizations that sign this pledge commit to advancing a more connected, transparent, and patient-centered healthcare system through interoperability, responsible innovation, and secure technology adoption.
The CMS Health Technology Ecosystem initiative brings together public and private sector organizations to accelerate healthcare interoperability, improve patient access to health information, and foster an ecosystem where data can move securely and seamlessly across the care continuum. By joining the Friend of the Ecosystem pledge, ALIGNMT AI becomes part of a growing community of healthcare innovators working to modernize the nation's digital health infrastructure.
"Healthcare can only realize the full promise of AI if every system deployed in the ecosystem is safe, transparent, and accountable," said Andreea Bodnari, founder and Chief Executive Officer of ALIGNMT AI. "Governance and trust have been the foundation of our platform since day one. We're honored to join the CMS Health Technology Ecosystem initiative and to support a future where interoperable data and responsibly governed AI work hand in hand to improve care for every patient."
The pledge reinforces ALIGNMT AI's commitment to helping healthcare organizations navigate an evolving regulatory landscape while adopting AI with confidence. As CMS expands the Health Technology Ecosystem initiative — including new pledge categories such as electronic prior authorization and a growing Medicare App Library supporting patient access, care coordination, and chronic disease management — the need for continuous, enterprise-grade AI oversight has never been greater.
ALIGNMT AI's governance-first platform enables health systems, health plans, and health IT developers to monitor their AI systems in real-world settings, detect risks such as bias, judgment errors, and safety issues before they escalate, and streamline alignment with emerging requirements including NIST AI RMF, ONC HTI-1, and the EU AI Act. By replacing fragmented, manual compliance processes with automated, real-time oversight, the platform helps organizations cut compliance preparation time, prevent costly penalties, and scale AI adoption responsibly — all without exposing sensitive patient data.
"Interoperability moves data; governance makes it trustworthy," added Bodnari. "As the healthcare ecosystem becomes more connected, we're committed to ensuring that every AI innovation strengthens the system, protecting patients, empowering clinicians, and giving healthcare leaders the confidence to innovate."
